They are battery powered and don't seem to go very far w/o recharging. Also pretty slow. Also big bucks for what it is...

looks pretty cool.

If there was some way to add a rear wheel to that, and maybe a small gas powered engine, for additional stability, cornering and speed, they'd really be onto something.

yeah, that'd be even better.

You could even connect that front wheel to the handlebars with some sort of tubes, so that it could steer it.

There is a kid that goes to MIT that made a unicycle like RYNO except his has a front wheel that will fold out to become a conventional style ele cycle
