It is truly beyond imagination how big the universe really is. I have a 30 x 40 poster of the original deep field image in my garage. I study it on occasion and it just boggles the mind.

Incredible. And I like the time scale in the 2nd link. Not only are we merely specks on specks of sand but we have only been here as a species for a relative nanosecond of time.
