19 Years, has it been that long??

19 years ago today. my Father passed, if you feel the urge, toast him with a Gin & Tonic at sundown.\

Kind of a hard week, as yesterday was the 1 year of losing another close friend & I'm heading out the door right now to take a "Stress" test, as if I didn't already have enough stress right now

22 years since my Mother died, the best, most thoughtful, meaningful human I have ever known.

While I will never be her, I have striven to meet her standards. I am sure you are doing the same, Byron, for your Father.

Doing so is the best legacy, the most vibrant sign of respect.

Peace on this day.

Out of Tangueray, but I've got vodka and I've got tonic. Cheers!!

I've taken several stress tests. It's not hard, and it's better than learning about the health of your heart the other way.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
I generally do very well on the Stress test, it is the echo & holder that I get bad readings on, and confuses the docs
I quit drinking in 2008 when I 1st started having health issues, something I decided to do my self, figured it would be best to cut the obvious, but while they have figured out some things, others still have them baffled, with any luck, results from today's test will shed some light (I'm on my 3rd set of Docs), but like a car that runs bad, then when you get it to the shop, runs normal, fortunately, my regular Doc has seen the issues & results, but when I see the the specialist, nothing..

Greetings Byron,

Thanks for the post and thread.

Toasting your father right now with a mug of nice hot cappuccino!

Well I must say....your father must have a been a great man, based on how his son turned out.

I know he is very proud of you as you have properly maintained his legacy in all the positive acts you perform every day.

I lost my father at 14 - but am so very thankful I was able to know him and benefit (as you did) from all of his wisdom before his time came.

Cheers then....to your dad.
