Better skiing out west this year!
 

Heading out to Utah to ski over the holidays and was worried that they might have some of the same problems they had last year. Looks like the worries of anyone planning on skiing this year can rest because this season is looking good. Alta and Snowbird have received over 100 inches this year and this week alone several storms are going to dump over 2 feet more. Here in the East, the same as last year with no snow and warmer weather. Can't wait! Anyone else heading out to the slopes?

Just skied at Sun Valley, Idaho today (I live here) and it was fantastic! Best pre-christmas snow I can remember for a bunch of years. Skied by myself for a few runs then chased around my youngest and his ski team group. Fun ripping around with a bunch of 7 yr. olds!

what's the matter 89911 ? tired of seven springs ? LOL ,, I"ve already skied Tahoe and it's looking like a great season!!!

Missing 7 springs? Skied there throughout high school and don't see me ever going back since going out west. It has it's place but when the longest run last 5 minutes, it get a bit old.:(. Very psyched the season out west is going well. Tahoe was one that we were looking at but was looking at the best bet for accumulation .

Tahoe has been very warm so far. We have a front rolling through right now which should fix things.

Supposed to go to Tahoe after the holidays with a bunch of friends, should be a blast. This is looking like a big snow year, sure hope so.
