Is this true about Oklahoma?
![]() Oklahoma law passed, 37 to 9 an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake. HB 1330 Guess what.......... Oklahoma did it anyway. Oklahoma recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from unless they want to get a green card and become an American citizen. They all scattered. HB 1804. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU, they said it would be a mistake. Guess what.......... Oklahoma did it anyway. Recently we passed a law to include DNA samples from any and all illegal's to the Oklahoma database, for criminal investigative purposes. Pelosi said it was unconstitutional SB 1102 Guess what......... Oklahoma did it anyway. Several weeks ago, we passed a law, declaring Oklahoma as a Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives. Joining Texas , Montana and Utah as the only states to do so. More states are likely to follow: Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Carolina's, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi and Florida. Save your confederate money, it appears the South is about to rise up once again. HJR 1003 The federal Government has made bold steps to take away our guns. Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people in this state have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I'm sure that was a setback for the criminals. Guess what........... Oklahoma did it anyway. Just this month, the state has voted and passed a law that ALL drivers’ license exams will be printed in English, and only English, and no other language. They have been called racist for doing this, but the fact is that ALL of the road signs are in English only. If you want to drive in Oklahoma , you must read and write English. Really simple.

I'll be more impressed when they pass a law that sets the value of pi equal to exactly 3.0
.. like Tenn. did |

If the above is any indication, in the far corners of the internet that you're reading, not much is true.

I would move to Oklahoma if all that were true, and lobby for additional laws that make sense like perhaps a drug test to recieve any governmemnt benefits like welfare, or medicare, and another one would be to provide proof of insurance to get new license plates.

And that is the problem with everyone in the f***ing world now. Thanks to the f***ing internet and dumbf***s everywhere, no one checks anything before posting it. No one cares if something is the truth or not before sharing. And thus sh** like this can spread. Even hinting at it and putting a question mark at the end of it still implies a certain potential truth, even when a quick check makes it abundantly clear that something is false.
Think for you f***ing selves, people. You're destroying this country by not doing your homework.

Think before you speak. Find reliable sources of information and then cross reference any info obtained with alternate reliable sources to vet the validity of "fact", "rumor". Our country currently stands fractured and divided primarily due to the death of journalism and the rise of rumor and lies as facts pushed for the sake of increasing viewership, ratings and website traffic. People just don't think for themselves any longer or are too lazy to dig into an issue to arrive on a truth. |

The insane part is, nowdays, it's actually far quicker to find out if something is factual or not than it used to be. Back 15 years ago, if a friend told me some political half-truths stepped to deceive, I may not ever really figure out what the real story was- the internet was not used for reporting things that quickly or in depth. But now, anyone with good reasoning skills and sift through BS insanely fast thanks to Google, Bing, etc. Sure, you dig up a lot of stuff reporting the same falsities... but again... with some good reasoning skills and a honed BS meter, it comes pretty easy to spot the crap.
And actually maybe that is the real underlying problem. Because of the added complexities in this new landscape, people are losing their intuitive reasoning skills. Edit: also, the internet, back in 1995, didn't make any money off of ads. There weren't tons of ads then. It made money off of selling products, space, subscriptions, and data access. Those things cost money and that is where it went. Nowadays all those things are free or nearly free, and the money comes from the ads. And this fundamental difference has jaded what content on the internet really means.
