It's end of year bonus time/wage review etc and one of my employees says to me the other day "I do not need a raise. Look after the other guys."

This fellow is the lowest "fulltimer" on the pay grid. He has worked for me for 3.5 yrs and I have bumpped him up each year since he has started. We've had a good year. I am lucky to have him and it gives me pleasure to do so under these circumstances.

Yes. I gave 49ers tix to one of my assistants last week. She almost cried. Made me feel like a hero. Funny. She sold an account the week prior that more than paid for those tickets. Good people!

It takes good bosses to make or maintain good employees. A good boss can make a good employee. A bad boss can ruin a good employee.
