I hate my phone.....
I have a POS phone from AT&T.....POS.....I hate it as it is a POS.....turns off, makes noises like my brother in law...and it's a POS....
My old LG from Verizon is the schizzle....can I get it house broken and port it? |
What phone are you talking about?
|
Hell if I know....an LG that survived a hot tub bath.....does it make a difference?
|
I'm guessing it didn't totally survive the hot tub incident. :D
|
Yup it does, sowwy.
I doubt you can use a Verizion phone on AT&T since they use different systems. AT&T uses a gsm service. I don't think Verizion does. |
IT LIVES.....it is NLA and I like it.....
I went to another provider for the kids..... I want my LG back.... |
I have an LG Nitro that I love and am on AT&T. it will cost you but go to a Best Buy and tell them what you want to do and just switch out your phone for one you want.
|
joe..they have these buildings..in these buildings are people working and they are surrounded by new phones..
i bet these people will sell you one of their phones..they have thousands of them... put down that rotary cell phone.. |

One word "samsung"
My wife's old LG sucked donkey appendages. We both now have Galaxy's and are very happy. My friend is very happy with his Motorola too... YMMV |
|
Don't you people know about StraightTalk? $45 a month. Unlimited everything. No contract. And the smart phones are actually running on AT&Ts 4G network. And they have Samsung Galaxy S IIs.

My wife and daughter have both had moderate luck with Samsung stuff. They aren't horrible phones, but they aren't great either. They are decent/ok/maybe even good. I, on the other hand, have had great luck with HTC phones. I even had one that was completely submerged in water twice and survived to tell the tale.
I just can't bring myself to buy anything made by LG. My impression it's that their stuff is more about show than go, but I don't have anything concrete to base that on. |
As much as I hate Best Buy...
Supposedly they are pimping cell phones... they have a selection of carriers and phones in store. Pick your provider and your phone and walk out. I have no experience with this deal so buyer beware. But if you are shopping for a cell phone it sounds cool to have a one stop shop. This is my first Samsung, I have heard they have had issues in the past... but I think they have stepped up their game with the Galaxy line... there must be a reason apple sued them. YMMV PS, With Moto, Sammy, and HTC available personally I would not go with LG... even the new Nokia's look pretty cool (was my second choice after the Sammy) |

Just look online for an LG model you think is close to what you had and buy one that was built / configured for the AT&T network. Should be no problem to switch over to it online or at the AT&T store. Ebay or amazon is a good source to buy the phone - NOT AT&T. I do this all the time on Verizon when a phone craps out - just buy what I like for $50 (refurb or even new) on Ebay and sign it up online at Verizon. I still have an original RAZR V3 running on the family plan! :D
Don't give in to this smartphone BS. Too much $. G |
