Two more dumb questions

Ok, Here goes. Question !: When you go to an ATM do you count your withdrawl
or just shove it into your pocket and go?

Question 2: When your house vacuum is ready for a new bag, do you just toss it out or do you autopsy it first, in case your wife has missplaced/lost her diamond ring or some such thing? PS (I've got to get off the gin for awhile)

Me? No on #1 and Yes on #2 ( Always find interesting things and a lot of leggo)

GH85Carrera 12-23-2012 12:11 PM

No on both counts. I used to count the ATM cash but it was never wrong. We have a central vaccum system. That bag is huge and way too gross to take apart.

Hugh R 12-23-2012 12:15 PM

Vacuum? That's what the illegal is for.

Actually, I now have hardwood floors.

Erakad 12-23-2012 12:16 PM

1. Yes, I have an inherent distrust of the automated...they do make mistakes

2. No, if we're missing something (valuable) maybe, otherwise, pickin' through the trash just is not my thing.

masraum 12-23-2012 12:17 PM

Yes, no.

WRT #1, I had a roommate get screwed out of $60 at an ATM once. I once got $200 out of an ATM, but instead of giving me 10 $20 bills, I got 8, $20 bills and a $100 Bill.

Por_sha911 12-23-2012 12:30 PM

Yes and bagless vac.

LeeH 12-23-2012 12:35 PM

1. Don't use ATMs. If I need cash I get it from the grocery store where there's never a charge.

2. Vac bag just gets tossed. Did tear one apart once when my daughter was sure some tiny part of something got sucked up. It wasn't in there.

Where's that last ATM? Vegas?

Evans, Marv 12-23-2012 01:06 PM

No on both counts, but I did get an extra $20 once from an ATM. Two bills were stuck together.

dan88911 12-23-2012 01:22 PM

1. No
2. Yes wife is always leaving & loosing earrings around the house.

Aggie93 12-23-2012 01:25 PM

1) used to. Was never wrong so quit.

2) only if I know something got sucked up.

yellowperil 12-23-2012 01:46 PM

When your wife is out and you're changing jets in your Amal carb on the coffee table while watching TV, that's where your jets are goin' to end up. So get practicing. Just put on rubber gloves and go to it. Everybody has the same stuff. Mainly: Dog hair and leggo, nothing to gross, and of course your carb jets.

Well it's all getting sucked up.. All the important stuff your wife/mate lost and all
the worthless stuff you dropped on the floor that you want back.

I have never used an ATM (successfully). The one time I wanted my card had expired from non-useage (they said after six months it gets cancelled). I'm fortunate to have a private ATM at work.

Yes, yes & no

ckelly78z 12-23-2012 04:36 PM

I haven't used an ATM for at least 8-10 years. I use a bagless cyclonic vac, but I look at what I dump in the trash can, although I can't ever remember digging through it for anything.

A930Rocket 12-23-2012 04:52 PM

Yes. No.

Went to an ATM years ago and instead of $20's, it spit out $5's. Had to get $5's to even up the withdrawal.

sc_rufctr 12-23-2012 05:05 PM

1. No. If its wrong you can't do anything about it in front of the teller machine... If it does happen you can raise a claim with your bank. They'll investigate the claim and refund your money when/if the machine doesn't balance.

2. Sometimes. Depends on what I observed during vaccuming.

LakeCleElum 12-23-2012 05:09 PM

1) Like I have money in my account?

2) She hasn't let me run a vac since I cleaned up sparks that came out of the wood stove and the bag caught fire......

mdnuojame 12-23-2012 05:23 PM

Two bills were stuck together.http://www.wengmj.com/h.jpg

gshase 12-23-2012 06:08 PM

Wife and I go together, She counts and I act as security. She only vacuums naked so ask her.

Bill Douglas 12-23-2012 07:52 PM

Yes. I always count money from an ATM. Once... Sure it was 20 years ago  but it did sortchange me a twenty.

No (no no no) I'm alergic to house mites and even the thought of a vacume cleaner bag makes my nose itch.

vash 12-23-2012 09:22 PM

no and no.

no need to count out the single $20 bill that comes out..well, i guess technical i do count it..i suppose. goes something like this: "one!" mentally i then do the math..one times 20 = $20..score!!

vac canister? i have two cats, one dog..and really dry skin. NO! nothing is worth diggin thru that.
