Its not just the people digging for change. How about this.... there are 6 people in line, you're one of them, maybe it would be polite to actually have an idea where you funds or card is before its your turn at the register.
I get my coffee at the local Wawa (east coast convenience store, very popular and well run). Its infuriating when people wait in a deep line and after they finially get up their then have to search forever to find their method of payment. Seriously you had all the time waiting on line to locate your wallet/purse. WTF people? Also, it gets my goat when I see people buying junk food, expensive prepared food or tobacco products with their state assistance card. If you're taking money from the state thats your business, but when you're blowing it on bags of chips, and other garbage or paying high prices for prepared foods, or worse buying tobacco (when you're technically not allowed to) then maybe you don't really need that assistance? |
Most people who do their shopping at convenience stores are the same people who will rent their entire life and never own their own home. It's a mind set. Many of them are also smokers. Again - the mind set differs from those who effect due diligence in managing their lifestyles.
Of course (and specifically as it pertains to this thread) many folks are not very structured, as it relates to things that interface with those who are....and thus negatively affect others around them. |

I can honestly say that most every thing posted here annoys me, too. I am not perfect by any stretch but I try really hard NOT to be the person that has no clue anyone else exists. |
Efin tools made in China.....pieces of garbage.

As the Chinese would say - you pay less, you get less - it's a fair deal. I would add that the Chinese are very capable of making whatever quality of item specified. People go to Harbor Freight and buy a tool that should be $35 for $10 and then complain it is not as good as the Snap-On version. The tool worked for the 1 time per year needed. Quit crying about super cheap tools that are not as good as the best out there. |

Costco Stores in the SF Bay Area (warning, PC filters are OFF, get over it.)
SOLVED! these offenders will go WAY out of their way to avoid caucasian oldfarts in surgical mask. - pushing carts on the wrong side of the aisles, against predominant traffic flow. (did you drive in the left lane to get here? ) - entire clans elbowing/cutting in line for multiple free samples of processed food. Gridlocking the aisle completely. - spittle-infused open mouthed coughing, an arms length away from me. (another reason to wear a mask) - invasion of personal space while in checkout line. If I can feel your stinky ass breath on my neck, you're too close, BACK OFF ! and don't get me started on Costco Gas lines . . . |
The tool that is a piece of s--t is a name brand. Porter Cable. It's a multi tool that I bought years ago. It crapped out on a job I was working on. I went out and bought a Bosch. It's been a workhorse. I fixed the porter cable as it had bad solder joints and kept it at home for a spare. I went to Reno to work on one of my rentals and took the Porter Cable with me. Yep, when I really needed it,it stopped working. Made in China. Wasted money.

Usually when I see one of the Main Line Mom's in her $100k suv who is too busy to use a turn signal or too busy to wait in the school drop off line so she barrels up the side and slams her SUV in the line with the phone glued to her ear and she's late for her nail appointment or tennis lesson. |

I spent the weekend at the Rolex 24. Does every douche have a little towing eye on their bumper now? It not just the Honda/Toyota kids anymore. I saw them on P-cars and Vettes.
|
I witness this more often than just now & then.
Rush hour traffic, a long right lane line in traffic, blinkers 'a blinkin', red light turns green, 10 - 15 cars in line waiting to turn right. One of the front cars decides to let in line a car from a parking lot on the right. So an entire multitude of those behind this kind and generous driver must wait until the car on the right enters the line...and those in the back won't make it to the green right turn light. And yep, the kind and generous driver is usually a woman...priding herself on being a good Samaritan. Jeeze!!! |
I rarely go to the local donut shop for coffee anymore, and one of the reasons is a pet peeve:
Some people like allot of sugar in their coffee. i don't, but I understand that people from other places have different tastes. So they pour and pour and pour for 30 seconds, then stir their sugar-soup for another 30 seconds, and then take a sip. Then they pour some more sugar in, stir for another 15 seconds, and sip. I get that is is an ethnic thing. It has to be, I've observed many examples and the pattern is unmistakable. But couldn't they do it somewhere else than right in front of me in line? Like maybe a little further south? |

I have entertained the thought of mounting a tow loop on most of my cars. |

One pet peeve, my 85 911 does not have a place for one of those like the 914 has. Easily removable but sturdy.
