Canada vs USA
All of Canada was expecting a win to put us in the gold medal game, I was looking for the win in a tight close game, it was not the case, Phil Housley has those guys playing their best and the goalie was lights out. It wasn't a close game, it was a blow out.

Team USA will be in tough against the Swede's, that should be a great game, any body else watching this action? Your thoughts?

Glad I didn't get up at 3 in the morning to watch that!
US played well and Canada was flat.
Hindsight is 20/20 but perhaps an earlier goaltending change might have helped.

You may be right Bill - but the rest of the squad come out flatter than pi$$ on a plate. A disappointment to be sure.

The USA has about the same number of kids playing hockey as Canada. They have a more 'open minded' development program for the Under 20 team. No one should be surprised that they are competitive.

Our talent pool is deeper, but the top players are very close.

Congrats to the US juniors!
After trailing early they beat Swedish team 3-1.
Congrats to the Sweden and the Russian teams who rounded out the medals.

Because of the broadcast times I wasn't able to watch much of my favorite hockey event and probably won't watch much of next years in Sweden.
Hope the broadcast times from Sweden are much better.
