Ah, now I understand. Wife and daughter just went to get a movie for tonight. It's a another stay at home night, while it sounds like armageddon out there with all the fireworks.

I've had their Arrogant Bastard and Sublimely Self-righteous beers. A good friend at work loves beer and can be both an arrogant bastard and self-righteous. For his fiftieth birthday, I gave him 4 Arrogant Bastard glasses and a 22 oz bottle (had a hard time finding those, which I attributed to his family overbuying for the b-day party).

Staying with a mix of beers from my home town (Baltimore's Heavy Seas).

Best wishes for a good New Year to all.

Mike

Jell-O Shots chilled, Hot tub steaming gently.

Relatively mild.

I plan to begin the evening by guzzling a bottle of scotch. Later, a fistfight or two. Then end the evening with a high speed police car chase.

Up at 4:30am, started work at 5:30am, left work at 6:00 pm. Got a call at 8pm about a problem at the office. Had wifey drive me to the office to solve said problem( had a Sam Adams with supper and didn't want to drive). Back home and ready for bed.

What do you mean it's only 9:15?!! Crap....I'm getting old.

Happy New Year!

Starting off the new year by cleaning out the CNC machines at work. Will spend the night and get some extra work done on cleaning these suckers out - they can't have much down time, and the cleaner they are gotten, the better the will smell.

Have a PS3 at work today also, playing some Gran Turismo 5 while waiting for stuff to dry out, will do some more of that just before I go to bed, which will be soon. If fire works keep me up, I'll crawl out of bed and game.

Mellow. We had people over Saturday night. Taking it easy with Mary tonight and watching movies and ordering in dinner.
We avoid being on the road for this night.

Mellow here as well. Each daughter has a friend sleeping over. Started with Samuel Smith Oatmeal stout then will move to either Founders Breakfast Stout or a St. Bernardus tripel - I think .

Trying to decide if I want to walk up the street to the neighbors party.
