Anyone remember Prodigy? Back as a stupid kid in the early 1990s I wanted my parents to get the internet, but they didn't want the bill. I grabbed one of those "free for a month" Prodigy discs and signed up for service, which required a credit card number. Not having a credit card I used my mom's because it was free, how would they ever know? This may have been the point that I learned my lesson about reading the fine print, because the contract included an auto-renew unless you took specific action to cancel. I had two great months looking at boobies via dial-up before my parents found out......

^^^^Matt... funny schtuf.
Reminds me of my naive sisters and their kids. The boys are grown up now but can relate. They would harp at me of how my nephews would never find or see porn on the net. So one day I opened the cache and clicked into some temp files and showed my sisters their PC's. The look on one of my sisters was priceless. |

I have an aunt who's an absolute idiot. She still pays AOL every month because she says she has to "they own the Internet and I have to pay them to use it". She just paid some shysters $400 last month to remove a "virus" from her PC that they put on her computer!!She falls for every scam and doesn't listen to anyone. There must be enough idiots like her to make this stuff profitable...
