Inexpensive WIFI router, under $50

Going to run and get a netgear WNR2000, just want simple WIFI around the house for laptop and smart phones.

Just thought I would let you guys confuse me with your suggestions/recommendations for a WIFI router under $50.

Frys brand - rebranded D-Link. $30 or so. No bells or whistles but mine has been running cleanly for 2 years now.

Why buy a cheap POS? They don't generally work, or last, very well. I binned multiple consumer-grade Linksys devices until I swore never to buy one again.

I simply don't buy anything that won't run some variant of WRT; might never need the advanced features - but if you do, they're right there:

Second hand store like Goodwill. I picked up a wireless N model for $4, much faster than the wireless G I had with better range too. I see them in those stores all the time.

Netgear and Dlink are two of the worst out there.

The new Cisco routers are awesome, but depending on the size of your house and how many devices you have hooked up, the price varies from @$79 to $250. I have the the big one, and it will stream movies 3 houses down the street!
