mossguy 01-14-2013 12:39 PM

Because "there are more important things to worry about" seems like a poor and lazy excuse to not do right by the language.

Does this grate on you as well or is this just me?:eek: Is this misuse of English acceptable or not?

I'm pretty sure anyone on this forum that types "learn me about" is being funny. :D

What irritate me most is people who are lazy and come off "like my ass":)

Yeah, the green text is great but a PITA.

Is it a bunker or a sand trap?

How about "trailor"?

widgeon13 01-14-2013 03:42 PM

And advice or advise

Bunkers are off fairways, sand traps are green side.
I'm sure you knew that, but the question was just hanging there.

spilling nazi's have lil winkies.

Spelling Nazi's have little winkies.

fixt it fer ya.

Oh Haha 01-14-2013 04:18 PM

Bad grammar/spelling really irritates me, especially in the business world.

We had a proposal from a cleaning company submitted to us and it was bad.

It was filled with spelling and grammar errors as well as general sloppiness.

We went with the competitor even though the pricing structure was more expensive because their proposal package was more professional appearing.
