Xbox 360 game advice
 

Nephew received an Xbox 360 for Christmas, and now his 8th birthday is approaching.

Not quite ready for Call of Duty yet, can anyone recommend appropriate games for a sharp 8-year old?

He likes history, boats, military stuff. Sports and cars, not so much.

Minecraft is all the rage with my nieces and nephews. Low tech, but they seem to love it. It's available as a download.

I have a 9 year old and minecraft is definitely a big hit.

There is another game called castle miner he likes, along the same lines.

Skate 3 is a big hit too.

H.A.W.X. or H.A.W.X II if he likes the arcade like flight combat stuff.

Second Minecraft. Check out Little Big Planet I and II. Its sort of silly but they also learn the rudiments of coding and can build their own games.
