Less Walking....Less Food

Is it true that if we walk more then we loose cartilage. What if we eat food properly and walk more.

First welcome to the board.
There is a fine line between strengthening muscle, ligaments, and cartilage and loosing & or damaging. That is why some folks say walking is better than running. Walking helps strengthen connective tissue while the constant pounding of running damages it. Of course probably 95% depends on ones own body.
It is never a bad idea to eat better.
There are docs on this board. Hopefully they'll chime in with professional opinions. I just stay in Holiday Inn Expresses. ;)

Also, walking more will keep your body in slimmer, and better shape to prevent injury, and your bowels will be regular from the activity.

I was recently laid up for a few months from a car accident (idiot ran a stop sign) that left me with 17 broken or fractured bones including a foot and pelvis. From being incapacitated for so long, and either in a wheel chair, or barely moving on a walker, I started gaining weight and was severely constipated for a long time while not on any pain meds or treatments that would cause this.

I actually feel better after my first week of work than I did not working just because I am moving all day long.
