An alert for you cat lovers.....
I am not a cat lover but this book title in the Toronto Globe and Mail book section has me totally intrigued. Non-fiction. How to tell if your cat is plotting to kill you by The Oatmeal and Matthew Inman(Andrews McMeel).
I have no financial interest in this but this is a heads up for you cat lovers......:eek: |
If my cats are smart enough to plot to kill me, then they're also smart enough to realize that if I'm dead there's no one to scoop out their litter box. ;)

I agree with recycled on the litter box cleaning. Thomas realizes he has no apposing thumbs, and it would be hard as hell to use the can opener to get to the tuna. I'm safe...

When a cat owner dies in a locked house, the cat eats the owner.
When a dog owner dies in a locked house, the dog lays down next to the owner and dies of starvation. 'Nuff said. |

Mine have a cat flap, they can come and go as they please.
They keep coming back, cause i'm the best servant they ever had. |
Dogs have masters
Cats have staff. |

The cat flaps...Was at a friends house in Ft. Lauderdale, they had a cat door for their two cats. Had too many Twinkies and didn't want to drive home. About 2 AM got up thirsty, went into the kitchen, three raccoons and the two cats lick'n the dinner plates. Rolled a fatty of cat-nip, had a great conversation, and went back to bed. The cats made me do it...

It's completely untrue. Plenty of dead owners eaten by their pet dogs.
Plenty of neighbors and toddlers attacked by pet dogs. Not so much with cats. |
