Could have had a V8.

You will be noticed though.:):)

My 1986 944 Turbo had a water cooled turbo that ran after shutdown.

Just sayin...

Nice ride -- for some reason the 500's are appealing to me. Would do beter MPG on my commute vs. my Ford truck which gets 15.5 mpg on a good day...

Those is she as mental/temperamental as most red headed women? :D

Those do look fun though, I'd love to drive one.

gsxrken 01-22-2013 07:15 AM

I was going to start another thread "Do you read your message before posting?"
There are many here that abuse the English language because they love to get your goat(and mine too). Some of them consciously do it and some it comes naturally. :):)
No child left behind policy is still in effect.:eek:

Water cooled turbos were even used in the turbo K cars (I forget their model names from Dodge and Plymouth in the 80,s nothing very new today

As my wife--a half-Japanese woman who is frequently asked if she is Puerto Rican--would say, "They all look the same to white people."

GWN7 01-22-2013 09:15 AM

They are built in Mexico.

Robert Coats 01-22-2013 11:18 AM

Actually, IF they had the reliabilty of a Kia, they would make a fun city car. Don't think I'd like to make a 500 mile drive in one though. The older I get, the more I appreciate comfort.

I'd like to see "is this a 500 mile car?" mentioned in the enthusiast mags. Meaning, can you take this car on a 500 mile drive and arrive at the end feeling rested enough to enjoy an evening of other activity?

enzo1 01-22-2013 12:16 PM

the 500l doesn't look too bad...
