Anyone in Brisbane, AU?

I'll probably be going there a couple of times this year for a remake of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. My first trip will probably be early in March. Planning early, if anyone wants to get together for drinks/dinner.

You will like working with the Aussie crews.. There are some good stunt guys in Queensland.

You might be able to check out the Formula 1 in Melbourne in March..

Yikes, I just looked and we will be at Funnel Bay which is 1,125 Km from Brisbane, but we have to fly in and out of Brisbane. I haven't looked yet, but I have to imagine we'll take a charter plane from Brisbane to Funnel Bay area. Like I said, I'm just starting to do the planning.

Melbourne is almost 3,000 Km from Funnel Bay; may not make the F1.

You will be in a lovely part of Australia.. the great barrier reef area.
Domestic flights will take you to straight there from Brisbane to Airlie Beach, about 1hr 30 flight.

Lots of cheap flights between Brisbane & Melbourne, Hugh. Take a look at Jetstar. I'm sure there'd be someone around here with a guest room you could use.

I fly to Brisbane every two months or so, but where you're going is truly beautiful. Get ready for the humidity, though...

Damm beautiful area! I won a bicycle road race there in 1984 and got my picture in the paper and they did not like nuclear powered ships but I seemed to be okay!

Thanks Adam, I'll look into it. I've never been to AU, so I intend to get the Company's moneys worth. I'll take the wifey over at least once. I also want to visit New Guinea while I'm in the neighborhood. Been to NZ a couple of times.

I was in Brisbane twice 2 months ago.....Had a few beers with Fishcop (John).....He's a great guy, give him a shout......It was my 3rd time to Brisbane, nice town.
