Never owned a 944, but who's the guy who always says " a well set up 944" etc, etc. That nice Boxter was going to Cincinnattil

So is that an NA with turbo bumpers, a turbo, an S2? The two tone is interesting, you should do the front bumper and rear script panel to make it cohesive front to back.

I hope that's vinyl...

Looks good though. No money shot?

It's a 1989 944 S2, non turbo. That is a vinal wrap over the top. When I get back in town, I'll post some more engine/interior shots. It has two great Recaro Pro seats inside so I'll have to get used to getting in and out.

89 was the pinnacle of 944's, IMHO. Great, fun, emminently tossable cars. Congrats!

Very nice, a good S2 is hard to find.

Any car I buy I buy is worth an enclosed transport, isn't yours? Why would one want to go cross country exposed to the elements.

Because cars are built to be exposed to the elements driving cross country. And I guarantee that your 944 has been exposed to the elements driving cross country before you owned it. When they are BRAND NEW they are transported in OPEN car transports. It's not a Pebble Beach restoration, it's a 944.

Just playing along. It did not cost any extra for the service. I payed just to ship it, they chose the truck. My luck.

Nice S2. I had a 90.

Excellent choice! I'd peel the wrap off and expose its full beauty!
