Game Day Bucket go BOOM

KFC, just another annoying commercial, but then I am not their target audience.

Scott Douglas 01-24-2013 07:18 AM

It's amazing how tiring some of the often repeated commercials can get.

drmatera 01-24-2013 07:40 AM

I thought the same thing. What demographic are they going after? Moron?

Jim Richards 01-24-2013 07:43 AM

The mute button on my remote gets used often, so I never really know what the commercials are about.

rouxroux 01-24-2013 08:01 AM

awesome-er?:D

M.D. Holloway 01-24-2013 08:06 AM

KFC gives me da shyts for 3 days...but I really dig that chick on the commercial! That look and attitude does something for me. I love a cutie that can talk slang and quasi hood and look like she walked out of a sorority...

craigster59 01-24-2013 08:21 AM

And what's up with Eddie Money in the Geico ad? He looks washed up....

M.D. Holloway 01-24-2013 08:30 AM

Her name is Sara Fletcher...

Sorry, I meant about the commercial.

tharbert 01-24-2013 08:46 AM

In January, new regulations took effect to lower the volume of commercials. They used to be able to set the volume equal to the loudest part you're show's sound track. It annoyed me to no end and I couldn't hit the mute button fast enough. Strangely, now that commercials are the same volume as the show I'm watching, I find myself a little slower to the button.

vash 01-24-2013 09:32 AM

Lubies..stalker kung-fu is strong :D i have only googled one commercial girl. the Verizon chick..

hahahha..i like the commercials more than the actual food.

scottmandue 01-24-2013 09:35 AM

Bunch of white 20 somthings talking gangster...

Maybe it is supposed to be funny?

BeyGon 01-24-2013 10:15 AM

that's it, the dingy blond using all the hand signs and talking like that, GAME DAY BUCKET GO BOOM, puke.

BReif61 01-24-2013 10:23 AM

I have not had the pleasure (?) of seeing this commercial, but I have a feeling that given the proprietor, the only thing going BOOM with that bucket would be my.

:)took 23 seconds of Google time to pull up that stuff.

Folks on the tube want to paid attention to...to a point, when things get close they (and anyone) tend to freak. I'm harmless, what you read/see is basically all there is. Beware the guy in the back, the lerker...they get a serious freak on.

This site has those and I fully expect that something whack shall happen...its just like that.

Pretty certain this answer is yes for 90% of commercials. Especially car lots.

ossiblue 01-24-2013 11:41 AM

Demographics be damned, the ad company wants you to remember the product. I wouldn't be surprised if the twenty-something, faux gangsta, hand sign throwing, white bread suburbies that appear to be the target audience also think it's a POS ad. Never-the-less, we all can instantly recall the product, and that's why the ad company gets paid.

drmatera 01-24-2013 01:30 PM

I actually Avoid some places/products because of the commercial they approved and paid for. I don't like being talked to like i'm a broke idiot.

so KFC is dead to me now :)

Not that I wholesale hate any type of music...

However this could be the death bell for gangsta rap, how can anyone take them seriously after seeing this commercial?

sings washed up too. He has a tour coming up though...bills to pay I guess.

M.D. Holloway 01-24-2013 05:58 PM

I will never eat KFC again as long as I breath...I would go hungry or eat a Catfish out of the Trinity river instead...

aigel 01-24-2013 10:14 PM

KFC - make your thighs go BOOM!

I had to watch this online. No TV. This commercial definitely is a reminder why I abandoned the monkey-box.
