Motorcycle Rental in Los Angeles

Anyone ever rented? I am looking for something for one day of touring and canyon running. BMW, Ducati or similar, no cruisers.
I have found a few and am leaning towards Eaglerider by LAX.
Advice? Will bea heading west Wednesday and looking to the ride Thursday or Friday.

the only thing close to being on your list at eagleriders is the R1200GS BMW. primarily a harley place. still it's near the airport.

did a quick search. you can get damn near anything you want. but be prepared to pay far out the ass.

BMW S100RR for $225 a day

Ducati Paingale 1199 $300 a day

Kawasaki ZX6 $160 a day

Check with some dealers too. One of them here rents BMWs for far less than Eagle Riders. I've been to all the BMW dealers in SoCal, but can't remember if any of them rent. Nostatic might know. There's Long Beach BMW, Irv Seaver and BMW of Hollywood, off the top of my head.

Eaglerider is a good company, have rented Harley Baggers from them when my bike was down and had a ride planed. Talk to them, they will deal.

I've only rented in europe. Last was a R1200gs for $965/week. Four hours from the Alps.

I think Pro Italia (one of the LA area Ducati dealers) was renting bikes for a bit (or else they were a place you could pick up a rental bike from a 3rd party company). You can give them a ring to see if they still do that.

Another company that had a booth at the recent Long Beach bike show was this group: Rent a Ducati.com :: Los Angeles Local Information

So I rented a BMW R1200GS from Eaglerider down by LAX. Bike, helmet, and jacket $200.
Awesome day riding through all the Malibu Canyons, lunch at Neptunes Net etc.
My only complaint was they only had open face helmets, some with full shields.
