I hate doing tax returns...

SSIA, even using TurboTax (and importing a bunch of data)...but done and DONE...yay SmileWavy

ZOA NOM 01-31-2013 10:52 AM

Me too! I feel so much better now. I know millions of illegal immigrants are counting on that money.

Jferr006 01-31-2013 11:17 AM

Just submitted mine. I always love my kids just a little more at tax time.

fintstone 01-31-2013 11:21 AM

That time already? I have not received my VA state tax refund from last year yet.

porsche4life 01-31-2013 11:21 AM

I knew mine would be tricky what with living in two states and all....

So I took em to an accountant. :). Was a rather pleasant meeting.

gacook 01-31-2013 11:21 AM

Waiting on my wife's paperwork before I can do mine...

onewhippedpuppy 01-31-2013 11:24 AM

Times like this I'm glad I married an accountant.

After that poison wedding cake it doesn't much matter what they do for a living.;):D

nynor 01-31-2013 11:39 AM

mine are done, too.

vash 01-31-2013 11:50 AM

i mess it up so bad every year..my wife will snatch it from me a just take over. works like a charm.

then just get the remote, find the NCIS marathon...ahhh.

BlueSkyJaunte 01-31-2013 11:51 AM

I get lost with all of the stock stuff...options, restricted stock units, employee stock purchases, etc...last time I tried TurboTax it insisted I owed as much as I had already paid in taxes.

Now I just take a big folder to my accountant, who deals with all that crap. Plus I don't have yet another CD-ROM to throw away afterwards. :D

CD-ROM you say..."T-Rex, from the dark ages"? Now that you can import all (most) of that stuff it makes it a whole lot mo-better (at least for me)...but still suckity nonetheless ;)

Yep, last time I used TurboTax it came on a CD-ROM. I think the next year you had the option to do it all online.

I chose the "toss the folder at the CPA and pay him" approach. :D

SteamWolf 01-31-2013 12:59 PM

I love tax time. I always get something back.

You enjoy giving your government a free loan?

Aggie93 01-31-2013 01:06 PM

I just got an email from Schwab saying the 1099s won't be mailed until mid-Feb.

I still do my own, but this might be the last year. Last year was a pain. Got stuck trying to figure out a couple items and found a couple typo's at the last minute and had to sort through the 1099s at the last minute.

I've used TT online for the last 5 years, at least. Never been interested in installing it from CD. The online site works just fine, and imports everything from last year.
