Cleaning out the odd ball ammo drawer....is this .308?

.38 waddie on the left, .223 then 12...XXX

Gonna offer them as door prizes. Cryptic marks on the back end....

Best guess? I DID have a Lee Enfield at one time but I thought I gave the buyer all the rounds. I have a digital caliper....how to measure?

Neck looks a bit short for 7.62x54R. Sorry that's the only reference I have.

My caliper is out in the garage or I could go measure some for you. Strange there is no markings on the brass. Even FMJ brass has .308 on them (I reloaded a bunch).

If you have a reloading manual there will be case dimensions for each caliber or you can mic the case(s) and then look on line. Don't guess

Long day...yeah, likely a .303.

I'm giving away my left over stuff....put a light buff on the one on the left...

I clean old cartridges by putting them in the vibratory tumbler for 30min or so with finely crushed walnut shells...

Those cases look rimmed, and I think .308 is a rimless design.

Check this web site for .303 head stamps, there are a lot. I'd say it's .303
