I love that engine! I drove a 5 door 1 series in Spain with the Diesel 1.6. Great car and I wish they would sell it here.

for what it's worth.. a $300 Trifecta tune on the Chevy Cruze/Sonic opens that turbo up nicely! :).. with a big impact on power and no real noticable one on fuel economy.

That's the absolute best thing about turbo cars - big power gains are only a tune away. Owners of NA cars can only dream of getting 25%+ power gains for $500-$1000. Stay out of the boost (yeah right) and you still get good MPG.
