Thanksgiving Morning: Exotics Racing Las Vegas
Was lucky to have the morning to myself while on vacation in Vegas. Called Exotics Racing to book 7 laps on a Cayman GTS and 5 on a 991 GT3. Paid a bit less than $400. They were running a 20% off for Black Friday/Thanksgiving.
Track is great for beginners like me: 1.2mi with a nice straightaway and some basic turns and slight elevation changes. Short briefing, a ride along on a Cayenne driven by the head instructor (which is probably faster than any of my laps), and then off to drive with an instructor. ![]() ![]() ![]() Sadly no video ($85 to get it, and I'm cheap). This old thread has one: My trip to Exotics Racing Las Vegas - Video included! Loved the scream of the GT3. They had an RS but I chickened out, and it was a hundred dollars more. (Did I say I'm cheap?) Would recommend for first timers or those who just want to drive any of the exotics... Maybe next time I will try the RS in LA. Was there 3 weeks ago. Didn't have time to get on the track but looked like a ton of fun. Next time for sure. Glad to hear you had a great experience.
