I'll have to confess, I love that movie!

Yeah, it has so many totally cornball/cliche lines ("your mouth is writing checks your body can't cash" "you're a good fighter pilot. Maybe too good." "It's classified. I'd tell you but then I'd have to kill you" etc.)

But I don't care. I love Top Gun.

Kelly was very manly anyways. IMHO . I never found her hot. She seemed bigger, physically than Tom cruise on screen.

we stayed in Oceanside years ago and our friend took us to the house that she lived in in the movie and there were 100s of navy and air force guys on bikes just kindof hanging out,pretty kool,do they still do that?

Now she's mad at me because she's 2 hours behind in getting her list of things done...

I would never give TC that much credit, the real star is the Grumman F14 Tomcat..

That's why they could never make a proper sequel to Topgun , not unless they made it an Iranian Tomcat movie.
