Spoon food...

Welp, there go the next few monthly rimfire matches....

Out of CCI SV, which is the best grouping stuff I'm willing to pay for for my Savage. No more tylenol at 50 yards

I do have "some" (4k or so) bulk 22, so now it is just informal plinking and plates with pistols until I can both locate and afford a stock of it.

Yup same thing around here to a lesser extent.

It was a contributing factor to why I got another P-car.

Our dear leaders here in California want to make it a FELONY to have more than 500 rounds of ammo!

I can see it now California legal 499 round bulk packs of .22

They're also trying to make hollow points a felony, 20 round mags a felony and detachable mags a felony.

We're soooo SCREWED!

It's an inside joke. No logic, just PARF goofiness.

I went to both Wal Mart and Farm & Fleet today. Bare shelves at both for everything but clay loads. No pistol, rifle, sabot, buck shot, or slugs. I've never seen it this bad.

I'm not looking for anything, but keep an eye on the shelves just out of curiosity these days...it isn't nearly as bad here as it was 4 years ago, but most shelves are indeed barren. Just like 4 years ago...wait 6 months. The sky wasn't falling then and it isn't now....YMMV.

Did a short session at the range with my son today. Shot about 200 rounds of .22LR, 50 9mm and 80 .223. Would have been more, but we had an appointment.

First time shooting the AR15 and it needs sighting in bad. Just need to figure out how....

Post a picture of your sights or describe them.

I run an Eotech with an iron flip-up rear sight. With my setup, I do elevation with the front sight and windage with the rear. I highly recommend getting a front-sight tool if you have to do elevation with it.

Iron site only up front with a Vortex Strike Fire red dot in back.

No doubt our inexperience with it didn't help.

I buy Federal auto match from midway. They are packed about 360 per box and I order 10 or 20 boxes at a time. With delivery it cost about $18 per box. It groups well enough for the metal plates I use it on.

Just swung by walmart and they had a lot more than last time. All centerfire rifle calibers seem to be represented and they even had XM193 5.56. I didn't really see any handgun ammo though.
