I-Phone Conference Calling - WTF?

Have a Verizon I-phone 4 that I use for business. Only frustration is with 3 way calling. Here's the scenario:

On a call and decide to patch in a 3rd person.

Add Call....goes to address book...select and dial.

Goes to voice mail.

There is no way to disconnect and return to the original conversation (that I can find) without disconnecting and calling back. Very frustrating.

Am I missing something? I've asked others and they've had the same problem.

May try out the new BB when it comes out in March if I can't resolve this. A daily problem! Open to suggestions.

Are you talking about after you are connected in a 3 way call, you can't disconnect just one of them to go back to the just one again without recalling?

Nope...disconnects everyone.

I just tested your issue with my 5 on ATT. When I press 'end call' after the second call picks up it only disconnects the second line - first line is still active.

It is either an issue with the 4 or Verizon. What OS are you on?

If the other person hangs up first and then you hit the button, then yes. If you hang up first, or wait for him to hang up, it will default to the first person.
