After the 3rd or 4th time of someone crashing through my fence, I would want an answer from the county or state as to why they aren't patrolling this area more. I would assume there are kids in this area and more than a few bad drivers speeding. Replacing your fence 22 times combined with a death before you bought your property would signal the county or state that this area needs more attention. Some of the things suggested are good (sand traps/gravel traps..etc) but for your safety and the safety of your family I think the county or state needs to do more. :( Just my .02 cents.

FORGET the rocks, boulders and walls.
1. PUT A RAMP IN 2. ..and a motion sending HD camera. 3. Profit |
Why wouldn't the county/state put up a guide rail along the bend?

maybe paint the fence white. atleast it will be somewhat reflective at night. I would just gather field stone and build a nice little wall no mortar just stacked a foot and a half or so high and equally as wide. But then again i have plenty of rocks around and a jeep to haul them.

You need a burm, or several that will deflect the on coming traffic. Still made of dirt, you can landscape, or cover with grass... concrete may cause more fatalities...
