Anyone using Turbo Tax 2012 to file...

Using it on my Mac Book Pro and having a problem getting an update installed. I got Turbo Tax and installed fine but when I try to update I get an error message telling me to try again later. When I try again, I get the same repeat message. Anyone seen this or have any experience with turbo tax 2012. I have always had good luck with the software for the last 5 years and this is the first problem with an installation and update.

I've done everything so far using their online system. No issues. Haven't actually filed yet though. Need one more piece of paper.

are you using apple hardware or windows? The installation seemed to go smoothly for me so I don't see any reason to uninstall. The message would seem to indicate Turbo tax is in the process of updating. I will call later this morning and see if I need to do a manual update.

Disabled my firewall and this is the message I keep getting.

"An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again later."

Same as before, so that doesn't seem to make any difference.

Use it via the web interface using Firefox on my Linux boxes with no problems the past few years. Gonna do 2012 taxes this coming weekend...

I was going to do that and then figured since I've had good success with it on cd I'd stick with that, well guess I screwed up that decision.

I switched over to their online version quite a few years ago (via a link through my credit union), so I don't actually "logon" to T-tax. I got tired of losing historical info, etc. every time I switched laptops, etc. No regrets whatsoever. Sent my additional State taxes via online payment just a few minutes ago...DONE and DONE :)
