What a nice lady, she actually cared about the owl. A lot of people would only care if it scratched their grille going in, I kid you not. Those are some big slats in the grille on that model!

found an owl in someone's grille long ago. got him out carefully, brought him home and let him out in my shed to heal. he did fly so probably wasn't hurt bad. a week later he was gone so either he died or got out

Here in Oregon, loggers cherish & love the great horned owl. You see, they eat the spotted owl.

Glad it survived. Beautiful creatures. Last year we had a nest nearby. Listening to the little coo, communication during the late night and early AM was really neat and easy to differentiate between them. So now just the other night, I heard another owl close by and wondering if its of the same of last year. I don't see as many chipmunks around either... what a hoot.

Beautiful birds!.....I'm glad this lady stepped in and did the right thing.
We have one that frequents our acreage. He'll often perch himself on the top of our chimney and hoot at 2 am....the sound echoes down the flue and through the house.....kinda spooky but totally cool!
