Happy 13th birthday Shadow!
 

Jordans Moonbeam "Shadow" ( his full AKC name) turned 13 today. He cant hear a thing since he was a month old, never hunted. Can't hardly feel his wind legs anymore. Sometimes he accidentally poops in his kennel but has been and still is an awesome family member. We love him but are afraid this may be the last one so we got him a cake. No we did not feed him the human cake, he had his own dog biscuit cake.

Shadow looks like the sorta boy who knows what to do with a cake like that.

I had a cat called Chalkie. She got to be twentyone and a half years old. For her 21st birthday party she had all of her buddies around and they feasted on king prawns and whitebait (whitebait are small fish about an inch long that are generally eaten in whitebait fritters).

Happy B-day Shadow :)! Crusty, my last old girl (yellow lab) couldn't hear towards the end and I carried her up and down steps for her last 18 months, but she had one of the "happiest tails" I've ever seen for over 14 years. Then "one day", she let me know and I called a vet friend over and held her in my arms as it was her "time". Shadow will let you know too...great critters them dawgs are...give ol' Shadow a treat for us Pelicans would you please sir!!!
