Venting, what a Rough Last 7 Days..

I swear, sometimes I wonder if I wasn't meant to be a Country Song writer..
As some know, the Lady that I've been dating ending up in the hospital the night before my big Swap-Meet last week, course I was still pretty sick to, then I found out that one of the places were I had some cars & "stuff" stored was sold, and I only had a few days to get everything out, a person who I have known for more than half my life, and considered a very good & close friend stabbed me in the back, and twisted the blade, I was screwed out of one my vintage track cars ,parts & some shop equipment (that was my compensation for putting around $250K, CASH in their pocket:mad:) looks like my Lady has MS, and went from the hospital yesterday for a rehab, as she is having trouble standing & walking, Docs still can't figure out my heart & breathing issues(had an appointment on Monday) then this afternoon, my 21 year old kitty, who welcomed me to this house in the mid 90s, out lived her kittens(the last 2 passed in the last 2 years :(,) but has been showing signs of getting old, having trouble walking, couldn't hear, ect, but still very loving, attentive and even this afternoon, still a good appetite. I knew it was coming, but still hard, as she was one of the most loving cats anyone has ever seen:( http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1360986460.jpg

Damn, Byron...please tell your lady that MS does alter your life...but it doesn't end it. Cindy & I have been married 37 years & counting. She was diagnosed with MS before our 3rd anniversary.

Friend stabbing you in the back? We've all been there. Write a song about it, making more than he cost ya...

Your health issues? Listen to the doc...

Finally the loss of the kitty...damn, that's gotta hurt! All here who have lost pets know that...

masraum 02-15-2013 06:57 PM

Byron, I'm really sorry to hear about your many misfortunes. Keep your chin up and keep doing what you do. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

jyl 02-15-2013 07:04 PM

I'm sorry this has all piled on you. Be strong, handle the urgent stuff first, let the other stuff slide, and call on your friends.

mikesride 02-15-2013 07:13 PM

Sorry, hope you feel a little lighter by letting it out. Listen to your Doc, remember your kitty and love your woman....things have a way of working out man. (oh, and save some room for forgiveness for your old friend, maybe he has his own demons to wrestle with, life if way to short to be angry about things you can't change)

Superman 02-15-2013 07:26 PM

Dayum. Rocky road these days. We love ya, man. Blues music is good.

Bill Douglas 02-15-2013 07:32 PM

Sorry to hear this Byron. But if anyone is good at bouncing back it's you and your team.

rusnak 02-15-2013 07:34 PM

Byron, I am so sorry to hear if your hurdles. I can offer only encouragement to hang in there and be strong for your lady and mostly, for your future self. You will look back later and thank yourself for not giving up.

tweezers74 02-15-2013 08:14 PM

Holy moly, Byron. Goodness, it has been rough. I am not really good at saying things that would make you feel better because many of those things were out of your control. If I was there, I would give you a big hug. I am a good hugger. :)

Jim Bremner 02-15-2013 08:15 PM

Damn, I'm sorry to hear this.

MS is a hard one. Joanna has had it for 15 years and it's taking it's toll on her.

Joanna is 47 and needing a wheel chair due to it.

I'm going throught some crap too. Anyone need a forklift or a tone of boltless racks. I'm shutting down my warehouse. 7 good years 1 wiped them all out.

Jim

Sorry Byron, that sucks. On the upside it sounds like you're due for some good luck.

Baz 02-16-2013 05:48 AM

That sucks Byron.

The only advice I can give is to count your blessings....you have so many including your friends who will always stand with you come rain or sunshine.....

Condolences on the little kiddle. :(

flatbutt 02-16-2013 05:54 AM

Damn Byron troubles do seem to come in waves. Condolences bro. Do what my grandfather used to tell me to do "just breathe boy, if you can breathe you can think, if you can think you can move on".

Aggie93 02-16-2013 06:03 AM

That is a rough week.

Sorry, cannot offer any specific advice, but hang in there.

Sending a virtual grip.

rfuerst911sc 02-16-2013 07:40 AM

Byron you just have to power through the best you can. Hang in there.

oldE 02-16-2013 07:51 AM

Byron,

Hopefully, one day you will look back with your Lady and remember the strength that got you through this time.
Start by knowing you will get through.
Look after your Lady and yourself.
Sorry about the cat. She must have been a determined thing to hold on as long as she did.
Very sorry about the souring of the relationship with your friend. Some people's memories are as short as their dicks. On the other hand, stuff is just stuff.

Keep well.
Best
Les

Racerbvd 02-18-2013 02:13 PM

Thanks for all the positive vibes, things are still crazy, & not in a good way:(
Even simple things aren't going right, such as the Euro bumper that was complete, in the pix, but when it came, no bumperetts or trim (I need this for my SC that I'm back dating to 74 RS) and my RSR front strut brace "disappeared" from a local shop and it wasn't even suppose to be there, it was picked up by mistake:rolleyes: at the storage location I just had to move out of..
Course, today my back feels like I have been beaten by Hack-Saw Jim Duggun..

ShakinJoe 02-18-2013 03:15 PM

I met Hack Saw Jim Duggan at a bar in Cape Coral. Maybe this is a sign fr things to turn!

jyl 02-18-2013 03:18 PM

Try not to sweat the car stuff. I know it is maddening, but to the extent you can, don't let it get under your skin. You need your energy and strength for the health stuff.
