I don't know if you guys have heard/read the news, but Genii Capital, owners of the Lotus F1 team, have become a shareholder/strategic partner of RUF Automobile. They issued a press-release on their site that you can read here:

As a business school student and automotive nut, not to mention the RUF Registry I maintain, this has piqued my interest heavily and I've been thinking about the implications of it since last week. Every Porsche enthusiast has been watching from the sidelines as development of the RUF V8 engine has been going-on for use in the 911-based RGT-8 that's going to debut in Geneva. Now with an injection of cash, good management and Genii's ownership of Lotus F1 I think we could see the emergence of RUF as a bona-fide supercar manufacturer on a world scale like Mclaren is doing with the MP4-12C and upcoming P1.
