The scariest video you have ever watched in the name of science - YouTube

URY914 02-21-2013 02:49 AM

My palm were sweating as I watched him get to the top. Couldn't believe he would put the hook on the foot pegs and not the center pole at he was climbing the last 60'.

No amount of money would be worth me ever doing that. But I suppose maybe they look at like it really doesn't make any difference if you fall 1700 ft or 100 ft. you are going to be just as dead so they may as well make the obscene amount of money that they are making for doing such foolish things.

Hard-Deck 02-21-2013 04:31 AM

NAFOD is the term we use: No apparant fear of death.

Gooch1971 02-21-2013 04:33 AM

I thought my BIL that services wind turbines was nuts until I watched that video. There is nothing that would make me climb the tower in the video...Nothing.

911SauCy 02-21-2013 04:34 AM

I just puked on my I-Pad...

Nauseating work...must be like heaven once you're up there.

Screw harness tie-downs. A PARACHUTE WOULD WORK BEST!

livi 02-21-2013 04:52 AM

I could not even watch it. Really sick to my stomach.

stuttgart46 02-21-2013 05:11 AM

Extra large attachments there.
Couldn't do it.

74-911 02-21-2013 05:17 AM

Climbing it is bad enough but who really had the big brass balls are the guys that erected it?

VaSteve 02-21-2013 05:29 AM

Next time I have poor cell reception, I'll have to remember this. I'm glad we have people that want to do this kind.of work.

911boost 02-21-2013 05:57 AM

Dude. No.

How much $ do they make?

lane912 02-21-2013 06:54 AM

ok lets go-

matt f 02-21-2013 06:54 AM

Same mold, slightly different batch as the Isle of Mann racers. Both, IMO, are friggin' studs.
Quick question, why the helmet?
Kind of like pissing on a refinery fire.
