The royal gorge in Colorado is by far the highest, at 1020 feet, but I don't think you can jump there any longer: 5 Highest Bungee Jumps on Earth

We're planning on swinging through South Africa next year on our round the world trip, so I guess I better start planning for this :)

That's the one! I think the closest airport is Port Elizabeth, but if you dont mind a drive, then take the garden route down from Cape Town. Could fit in a cage dive with Great whites on the way down! And then surfing at Jeffries Bay all along the same road.
