Again

He must have been stroking to do that much damage.

djmcmath 02-24-2013 05:25 AM

Holy sheet!

earlycar911 02-24-2013 05:26 AM

It is crazy, the amount of damage from the one truck, and the lucky bastard walked away with out a scratch. Now it sounds like he doesn't have enough insurance to cover everything.

mikesride 02-24-2013 05:45 AM

Another case for "justifiable homicide" Was this Ass Clown drunk? I mean c'mon this guy must have been doing a good speed to do all that!!! (maybe I shouldn't have called him an Ass Clown....maybe he's a nice guy, whom you normally get along with) But MOTHERFUCHER I WOULD BE PISSED!!!!!!

earlycar911 02-24-2013 06:22 AM

He somehow passed the field sobriety test, but the cops think he was on something. I always got along good with him, and at first I wasn't mad at him at first. The next day I spent cleaning up the mess and he had friends over and was drinking and having a good time. He didn't contact his insurance company until 5 pm friday. I had to call a tow company and have it all removed on my dime. So now I am starting to get pissed, and he only has 25000 in insurance. And there is about 80000 in damage.

Rick V 02-24-2013 06:44 AM

I think it is going to be time to release Jason Vorheese on him. This is not a time to be a nice guy.

pete3799 02-24-2013 07:00 AM

All said and done.....i bet it's more than $80K

earlycar911 02-24-2013 07:53 AM

It could be I was just taking a guess, I just hate being one of those people hiring an attorney and suing. I just don't think I have much of a choice.

Sue him for everything he's worth and put him out on the streets.

Who the heck drives around with $25000.00 worth of insurance!!!! I have $1000000.00 in damage and 2000000.00 in liability on all my vehicles. The guys a menace and an idiot in my opinion. Now you have to sue him probably.

earlycar911 02-24-2013 08:08 AM

I don't think I have a choice, and what really sucks is I use the Frieghtliner and trailer on a weekly basis as part of the way I make a living. I am going to loose 3-5000 this week since it is down. And the 73 is my first car I got when I was 15 years old, it is a very sentimental car for me.

mikesride 02-24-2013 08:14 AM

On your work truck there....Do you have income interruption insurance or at least rental equivalent coverage on it? Can you use your own insurance to get things repaired and have the insurance company sue him instead? I had to go thru something like that years ago.....paid my own deductible, plead no fault and the insurance company went after the offender in court. Cost a thousand bucks or so but very little hassle. Insurance rules vary from place to place.

Yup. He sounds like an ass clown that isn't going to step up and take responsibility. Sucks royally for you, that's a bad situation all around. How much is covered by your own vehicle or homeowner's insurance? Often times they will cover the damage then sue the offending party on your behalf.

Neilk 02-24-2013 08:29 AM

Just the car damage appears to be close to $80k. If they total out the 911, that should be worth at least 40. I can't imagine the garage repairs being cheap either. Get ready to fight the adjusters on the 911 value. You may want to check out the Early S Registry for some comps on your car.

If I had caused that damage, I would have been calling the tow trucks for you and trying to make your life as easy as possible.

mikesride 02-24-2013 08:42 AM

I was once a victim of a hit and run. Guy pushed my work van (parked legally on the road) into my wifes car (parked in the driveway) knocked a tree down and absolutely tore up our landscaping!!! We found the guys front license plate jammed in the rear wheel well, jackazz lived just down the street from me, always parked on the street, but this morning his big dodge dually was snuck into his garage!!!!

daepp 02-24-2013 09:57 AM

Was the Freightliner in gear? Seems hard to believe that the truck hitting the trailer at an angle could push that big truck so far. Wow! Sorry for your loss.

earlycar911 02-24-2013 10:06 AM

I am waiting to here from my insurance company on the limits of each policy. The problem is I just got the trailer and it is custom built to haul two 911s so it has no vin yet and was included in my policy yet. They wouldn't insure until Delaware gave it a vin number, I had started the process but it requires a inspection from auto theft and some other hoops to jump through. I just really am starting to get pissed, I have a long fuse. But this guy is getting to the end of it quick. It sucks I have done a lot for this guy over the past couple of years, and thought we were friends. People in the community will tell you i am very patient with people and will do anything in the world for someone. I live meagerly and have worked hard for everything I have.Just to have some ******* destroy it in a blink of an eye.

earlycar911 02-24-2013 12:25 PM

I had the truck in gear as well it is amazing the force for which he hit everything.

William930t 02-24-2013 12:46 PM

The pictures are disturbing, story is even worse. I see well over $80K in vehicle and garage damage. Friendship is over time to lawyer up.
