I don't mind it when they kill people in movies because I know it's not real, but when they wreck cars, it really makes me sick!

I'd much rather see them trash a bunch of new Mercedes then a single rare muscle car like they usually do .

Better that they trash a bunch of newly built Mercedes on Mercedes' dime than fifty old Porsches.

I know that they were just cars but for some reason I feel really uneasy watching gratuitous destruction of things with utility. I have a tough time watching most "reality" TV for similar reasons. The feeling I get approximates embarrassment and repulsion rolled into one.
