Joe Walsh on Guitar Center Sessions...Audience Channel

. I watched him yesterday...he has a new album "Analog Man" - good songs. . He said that his signature sound came from the response of an 8" amp speaker. He says his best combo was a Fender Telecaster through a Fender Champ amp (8" speaker). Advises young guitarists to not get carried away w/mountains of equip't. He talks about songwriting, sobriety, giving back to younger musicians as he was given by P. Townsend, the Eagles, & analog vs. digital sound (days of old vs.new age musicianship). . I remember over the summer watching Joe Walsh performing his songs with other artists on some Palladia series. He would stop and talk about one of his songs and then they would perform it. Thought it was pretty good. Don't know if this is the same show or not.

Saw Joe last summer when he came to PGH. He did some reminicin' between songs and played a great set.
