How to they fit those model ships in a bottle?
I saw one today that was large and very detailed. Talking about having time on your hands, but how is it done?

The ships are build outside of the bottle and the masts "hinge" upward using an attached thread after inserting the model through the neck of the bottle.
There are many illustrations of this on the web, and here's a good one: How to build a ship in a bottle - By Captain Dan Berg - YouTube |

Tall ship model makers -
I realize this isn't a sight for selling these types of things but thought I'd offer this vintage Billing Boats (Denmark) complete with fittings kit to any fellow Pelican (for a bargain) before flea-bay. 1:50 scale - Santa Maria #488 with seperate fittings kit #489. Perfect and complete except the plan print had been hanging and shows age. More pics available by request. PM if interested. :) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1375114568.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1375114683.jpg |
