Jury Duty.....The Jury Verdict Is In
From my jury duty on Monday, The defendant was charged with 2 counts of intoxication DWI homicide. I did not make the jury pool and I wondered what kind of sentence if any the defendant would get so I checked with the County Court and Jail. He was found guilty and got 2 10 year sentences. This is what most of us that were dismissed from the jury pool felt was a reasonable sentence. I had the # 10 in my head as I walked out of the jury room.

It became an intentional act when he got behind the wheel drunk, and deserves the sentence given.

I feel bad for the family of the deceased in the case that you are talking about. This just happened this week out side of NYC. the man was coming home from work to see his family. Never made it. Nearby: Franklin Square Man Killed in Car Accident Near Malverne Border - Five Towns, NY Patch
