I really want to do a 914. I also regret not grabbing one up just to warehouse back when you still could get a decent one on the cheap. I know I took a pass on a few that would have been a great deal by todays standards. I'll be watching this one. You go boy!!!

I think I'll just leave THIS here. You know, for inspiration.

A colleague and I are splitting the costs to build thins thing into an endurance racer.
We got the car, complete- everything there, just not running- for $180. Not a typo.

If that is already in your garage then you have misjudged when the decent began...

trekkor-
we're planning on doing anything and everything that comes our way. could use your advice. my garage is full of 914 and beer right now. TIG welder arrives Tuesday. Planning on having a few different 'packages' for the car- the dented up doors and hood and bumpers for lemons, chumpcar.... and then a nice fiberglass body and wheel/tire package for possibly 25hrs of thunderhill next year. We really want to hit up some Chump car races by year end. I wanted to do the 36hr up in Washington but don't think we will make it by then. The car itself it straight and rust free. The motor looks to have had a bad rear main seal but turns free and the gearbox feels like it's all there.
