Would you did it?
Two yrs. in solitary confinement for $15.5 million dollars. SmileWavy
|
Tax Free?
|
No I would not DO it ;)
I'd go crazy..obviously. Then the funds would be useless. |

If it were just the solitary confinement... sure. But the guy now has serious problems with the health of his mind and body.
|
better than two years in general population.
yes |
Could we share?
How about 4 people do 6 months for $3 million each? 8 people do three months for $1.5 million? I'm negotiating here! I might do the three months, provided the other, um, "amenities" of prison life weren't included. :D |
In solitary? Hell yes. I get along great with my other three personalities!
|
If you are talking about the DUI guy in New Mexico, he was a few fries short of a happy meal anyway.
For that amount of coin, just consider me a silent monk...:D |
I was in solitary for 1 year you guys wouldn't make it.
|
I'd do it for nothing.

Sit and do nothing, and receive $7.75 million a year? Sounds like half the CEOs in America.
|
I did it an hour ago and I'm ready to do it again. Mel Brooks
|
no I would not did it.
|
Hell yes. Do you an easier way without getting caught?
|
If I had to duplicate that guy's situation, then, no, because he's F'U'd, mentally and physically.
If I could write a few conditions into my stay at the greybar, like basic toiletries, a little exercise in the yard, a few books and magazines, some art supplies, a rock hammer and a poster of Racquel Welch, then, maybe. |
I work in a cubical. Not too much difference there.
|
Had to look up what you guys are talking about. Sounds like the real kicker here is being held without charges. Not the actual prison conditions?

If there was a computer and wifi available, there's a few guys here that would do it for sure.
They wouldn't even notice the difference from their life now. |

Some of us may make it however we might age a little.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1362795882.jpg

I take exception to that assessment. It is more like 90% of CEOs.

$1,000 per hour, 24 7. Have to give that some thought.
|
The jury originally gave him $22 million.
|
This reminds me of a short story by Stephen King called The Jaunt.
|
think I would be able to do it, and yes I would as long as I could have books. Sometimes I just long for solitude, and a book. Don't forget to feed my cats while I am away please
|
define 2 years in solitary first
- Can family visit? - TV? - books? - Daily hour out for a walk? - Phone calls? - what other do's or can't do's ? Could i do it, sure Would i ? Not sure.. It's a funny thing to be deprived of your freedom, to be told 24/7 what to do or not do, to live by somebody else's clock. To eat and wear the food and clothes you have been given. Not sure how many of you have ever been there, and no , i don't mean army or company meetings. I mean truly being imprisoned is something entirely different. |
