Remember this from Shakespere's JCeasar? To me it refers to the 15th of March not the end of the month, who can remember for sure, have a bet with a co-worker and need help settleing it.

The Ides of March is indeed the 15th. Varies month to month - derived from the Latin idus, a term marking the 15th day of March, July and October as well as the 13th day of other months in the Roman calendar year

I believe it pertains to a warning given to Julius Caesar, "beware the ides of March!"
This referenced the date he was to be assassinated.

March 15 is always a sad day for me. Ten years ago today I took my best friend for her last trip to the vet. Then buried her. Still not over it.
