Can anyone tell me what this is called - Chinese or Asian Art Related
Hi,
I recently acquired a variety of artwork via a small inheritance and I'm wondering if anyone knows what these items are called. They are not really my taste and so I am selling a few things on eBay and I'd like to get the descriptions right before I list them. Item #1 Traditional Chinese Decorations. It's about 5' long and hangs on a wall. I'm certain I've seen these in Chinese restaurants. Not really art but more like a Chinese Decoration. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1363328754.jpg Item #2 This looks like a very old (possibly ancient) antique. It's like a scroll, it's made of silk and is about 7' tall. It has old bells on the bottom and I don't know if this is Chinese, or Moracan, or whatever. Anyway, I'd like to have a reasonable description and name before I sell it. The photo is bad and I need to retake after I can find a wall big enough to hang this on. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1363330896.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1363330936.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1363331046.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1363331424.jpg Lastly, if anyone is interested, I have lots of artwork listed on eBay now. A combination of Chinese, Japanese, African, and Mexican Folk Art. I still have more stuff to list but it is taking a lot of time to get everything photographed and described. Thanks for any help.....Vern |
