Teaching spoons the right way

This girl, 13 years old, is impressive to say the least. Just goes to show what a good teacher can teach.

"too catch a predator" would have been even better with her as the bait.

Nice to see that she has had proper training. I love to see young kids involved in sports. The fact that it's a shooting sport is a plus.

She's a gamer. Nothing wrong with that but not zombie appropriate.

Impressive

Awesome.

It's only a game, like any other. Other kids shoot hoops like that, play tennis like that, ride BMX bikes like that, etc. She is good at her game, no doubt about that. Well coached. My hat is off to her parents for choosing a "different" sport for their kid. Don't think for a moment, however, that this has any "real world" application.

Except respect for weapons and the knowledge and temperment to treat them responsibly. IMHO, this can't be understated or underappreciated.

We commonly get videos posted on here of various children in various activities: Guitar players, piano. What is impressive is that she is able to do things that adults sometime can't like loading a 12 gauge while walking or never taking her eye off the objective. That is something to praise. There are other videos online of her. She would like to be on the Olympic team one day. She has gained enough respect from the adults at these competition to work as a range safety officer. As a parent of a 13year old, I also find it impressive the discipline that it takes that is so rare in a child this age to get this good at anything. As for "real world"-her father is a Staff Sgt (I think that I am remembering the rank properly). If she decides to follow in her father's footsteps and join she will be ahead of the game. I will add one more tidbit at 10 years old dad took her hunting for deer the first time. She got an 8 point buck. It is a skill that comes in handy if you choose to use it.
