PEO membership in/near Pasadena, CA?

Long shot in the Pelican off topic forum, but worth a try. My wife wants to get plugged into the local PEO group (women's social/philanthropic club), but the tradition is that you need to get invited by an existing member. We had family that were members, but they are deceased now. PEO is somewhat secretive, so they don't exactly wear nametags around town. Anybody have a wife or family member (probably best in SoCal) that might be willing to talk with my wife and see if getting inolved is feasible?
