anyone playing command and conquer?

Tiberium Alliances.

I've always loved the C&C series and am now completely addicted to this new version. Anyone else playing?

Game looks cool. Is it a strategy game?

I used to, then the puters got too new for the games.

Coincidental timing. Played all of them since I was a little kid. Installed Red Alert 2 and playing that right now. I'll check out alliances.

I like the original C&C best, although the AI that is limited to the CPU power of 1990's era computers can be a little frustrating.

Tiberium Sun stunk. Didn't like it, Firestorm, its add on, mildly better. RA2 was very engaging and I liked it. I also liked Renegade.

I haven't sprung for anything newer past generals. Tiberium Sun kinda ruined the C&C experience for me.

Generals was probably the best of them all, and 3 was good, but 4 really sucked. Alliances is free online and uses the same principles of destroying bases but everyone is racing towards the center. It is made to take a LONG time. I've been playing almost every night for 6 months and am about 1/4 to the center.

I used to play Red Alert, way too many hours, dont want to think about it. Havent touched it in ~10 yrs. Loved it.

I didn't realize there was a new edition out. I was completely addicted in the 90s...
