Old Truck Driving project
We are investigating participating in the Lincoln Highway Association's 100th anniversary tour.
2013 Lincoln Highway 100th Anniversary Tour The tours depart from San Francisco and New York and meet in Kearny, Nebraska. We have the east coast leg covered, but we are looking for someone with an antique truck (1975 or older) to make the western leg. We will sponsor the right participant. Do any PPOT participants have an interest (or know of anyone with interest) in this? Patrick Ertel editor Vintage Truck magazine

Sounds pretty cool, I wish I had a 56 Ford truck to participate, but not yet.

My '41 Ford will only do 45mph. It's a little under the weather right now.

Do John and Peggy at Stovebolt know about this?

Hmmm. I don't know. I'll email them and see. It would be very cool if you could do it.
